Weekly update day is here once again. This week the CVDGA has a full mini schedule on tap, with one being a new “special” mini in the rotation. Big Spring’s West Texas Disc Golf Champions Tourney is quickly approaching…are you signed up yet? I hear there is a 2 day tourney that has popped up in Brownfield this weekend as well.
Before this week’s update I need to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to the few guys that took the time this Saturday to transform North Concho into the first fairway DG course in San Angelo…if not all of West Texas. There were only 7 of us out, but we got the job done and I think the course looks AMAZING! So be sure to thank these guys when you see them on the course next time. Carl, Jonathan B., Cookie, Coby, Muph, Sean, and myself spent about 5 hours Saturday mowing and weed eating fairways, emptying trash as well as picking up trash all around N.C. We hope you all like the way it turned out…cause I know we do!
MINIS
Next Monday’s Women’s Mini will be at Picnic Bend Park. Teetime is 6pm, and there is no cost to play.
Wednesday’s Mini is also set for Picnic Bend with a teetime of 6pm. This week is handicap singles.
Saturday’s mini is the “special” mini I was talking about. With the new Spring/Summer mini rotation we have added a new GET RIPT round to the schedule. Every 5th Saturday will now also be played at North Concho and the format will be RIPT. Teetime is 10am. The other reason this is a “special” mini is it falls on our President, Coby’s birthday.
Sunday’s lake mini will be at 2pm and the format is random doubles this week.

Brownfield “the coleman bash”
Just wanted to pass on some info I got. The Brownfield Bashers are having to cancelling the Brownfield tourney this weekend. Sounds like it will be rescheduled for a later date.
