 Update 4-14-08  Ok weekly update day is here…This week in Concho Valley Disc Golf we’ve to 2 minis, an area tourney, and another regional tourney coming up in a couple of weeks up north. Also with Easter behind us, the lake course will be going back in the ground in the next day or 2.MINISThis week’s mid-week mini is set for 18 holes at Brentwood Park. The format this week is random doubles, and the teetime is 6pm. The Sunday mini will be back on this weekend, but will probably be a little low on turnout. So if you are not going to Big Spring this weekend, head out to the lake for the 2pm doubles at middle concho.
Big Spring West Texas Champions TourneyThe annual Big Spring tourney is this weekend, April 18th & 19th. For those that have not played this event, get your arms lose and bring some icy hot…cause with 81 holes to play, your arm is going to feel it. But don’t let that scare you away, Greg always puts on a great tourney and gives out very good player packs. This year’s shirts are going to be Jerzee’s moisture movement shirts, which feel very good while playing in the West Texas heat. If that wasn’t enough, the logo has had a bit of a face lift as well. Not sure if he’s doing it again this year, but the past 2 years you got tourney stamped disc in your players pack as well. So with the disc and the shirt, you’ve got most of your money back already. Then there is still the tourney to play. For more info swing by the shop and check out the flier.
The next tourney on the books is the Discrazy shootout up in Amarillo. Which is happening on May 2nd and 3rd. More info on this one next week.
