 6-20-2012 It’s weekly update day….a day late this week. I am going to have to keep this short and to the point as I am in the middle of a very busy week at work so here we go. Abilene’s Wild Hair is this weekend followed by Levelland’s Light House on the Plains next weekend. So there is plenty of disc golf to be found over the next 2 weeks. Also just a reminder the lake course is pulled and will stay pulled until after the 4th of July weekend. Which means we only have 2 mini in town this week, but between the Wild Hair and the boat races I am not sure Saturday’s will make. Other than that the Fly Ink Sizzler is the next event on the radar down in Junction in a few weeks.
MINIS
Today’s mini is set for random doubles at Brentwood Park. 6pm teetime.
Kind of a funky round of Saturday’s mini this month with the way the weekends are working out, we are in the 3rd week rotation, but are also in the 4th weekend. Anyway we are set for Random doubles at North Concho Saturday with a teetime of 10am. Just remember the Wild Hair and the Boat Races are going on here in town so turn out maybe a bit on the low side.
Anyone know what next Saturday is??? That’s right 5th Saturday of the month….means it’s almost GET RIPT SATURDAY time again!
Abilene Wild Hair
First off, I want to wish all the CVDGAer’s the best of luck this weekend up in Abilene…do us proud!
The Wild Hair is this weekend and Jerry has let us know that there are fewer and fewer player packs available….so if you are not signed up you have till Thursday night to get it done online. If you don’t do that your last chance will be at “the bring your partner doubles” round Friday at ACU. There are NO SATURDAY signups!
BTW- Someone, or everyone be sure to give Alan a big one finger solute…be sure to “tell him”, then tell him Happy Birthday for me!

Junction’s FlyInk Sizzler In Cahoots With Full Contact Disc Golf
Just got to play this course Monday, and every time I do I have a GREAT time in Junction. If you can put this one on the calendar for next month as it will be a good time on the river in Junction.
