Hey guys, Big John's wife is holding a charity chili cook off at the end of next month. Feb 27th to be exact, thought I'd see if there was any interest from the Team HOBO guys? I myself am not much of a cook, but I'd be glad to help and have a few beers while we watch it boil?
So any Team Hobo Cooking members good and cooking gumbo? Mark is holding a gumbo comp. next month out at his palce. Suppose to have a couple of bands...sounds like a good time as long as it's not on a tourney weekend.

When you say next month you probably mean July. I will be out of town but it sounds like a blast! I really don't know that much about gumbo but how to eat it, and I can do that very well. My dad and uncle always do the cajun cooking since they are from LA. I wish I had payed more attention now!
I am not sure he has told me the date...if he did I can't remember it. No matter how the gumbo turns out I can promise it couldn't be any worse than the beans part of Team Hobo cooked!!!! :))
