So I was thinking about changing up Wednesday's night glow round to a little something different like one of the games out of the disc golf review magazine...
I was thinking if we get a player number divisile by 3 we should do "three headed monster". Basically you play triples, but the person who's drive you take can not play the rest of the hole. The other rule is no one player can use his drive for more than 6 holes of the 18.
The other one is "three's a crowd and not allowed" On this one you play regular doubles, but you can not use any one players drive 3 times in a row.
The 3rd game I thought might be fun is "tailgating" This one sounds a little harder. You bascially play best shot doubles the whole way through, but the catch is: the 2nd person has to drive before the 1st players drive hits the ground.
"What's in your bag" is another game they had...it was basically you could only throw a disc once until you have thrown everything in your bag...this one seems a little hard to do at night glow so I'm thinking once we get going with day light minis again this would be a good one to try.
The tailgating concept sounds interesting. Though as the evening progresses timeliness will be the catch and at least one person has to be on the ball to make sure the partner or partners are on key to throw before the first drive hits the ground. Interesting concept though. Three headed monster sounds more conducive to night golf. Until the concept of remembering who threw what plays in. All great ideas for changing things up. I like it.
Well good time out last night...even though it went a little late! I thought the 3's a crowd and not allowed made things interesting, what did everyone else think? There were 10 of us out to give it a try.
I forgot the scores in my bag so I'll have to post the rest of the scores after lunch.
