Well we broke the 7 cycle we'd been on a S.C. this weekend....by 1. 8 of us out there, 1 new to minis, but not new to throwing far! You might remember me saying a S.A-er was heading to the Big D in the desart comp. a few weeks ago. Well he finished 3rd in the World at the comp.(his longest throw something like 80' off the record) and now that his trainning for that is over he's going to come out and play some rounds with us. Welcome to the minis Jeff!
It wasn't all good out there Saturday, I threw my Wasp in the street on hole 12 and forgot about it after JC nailed a bird from his lie....when I remembered it 2 holes later, it was gone! So if anyone finds a 2009 FlyDye Wasp with my name on the back I'd LOVE to have it back!! With only 2 weeks till teams, and me being out of town for 1 I've got no time to break in a new one!

Enjoyed the random doubles last Saturday and I'll be out for singles this Saturday. Looking forward to developing an all-around game now that the distance comp is over (my furthest was 160 meters (or 175 yards / 525 feet) 21 meters short of Jeff Stoops World Record of 181 meters. I just found out that I'll be moving to North Carolina next spring and that World's is in Charlottesville NC in 2012 - yahoo!
Welcome to the board Jeff, and the Saturday minis! Sorry I had the info a little off about your trip to Big D, thanks for getting me set straight! Hate to hear that you are getting shipped out, since we just got you out to the minis, but I guess that is military life!

Only 8 of us out to brave S.C. last night....only 4 finished! I will tell you what, S.C. night golf is WILD! Guess it's something I can say I did now though....and I didn't even lose a disc!

I'm sure most have heard by now...Nick hit an ace on hole 12 Saturday. $196 or something like that...those "easy Ace Holes" sure don't get hit very often. The S.C. Ace Pot had been going for over a year!
Only 5 of us out Saturday...but what a nice day it was! A little windy maybe, but the temps...how could you pass that up? Follow that up with a little Armentas Lunch and a nap....yeah it was a good day!

Got a call from some 3rd Coasters that are in town, said they played S.C. yesterday and hope to make the mini tomorrow. So maybe we'll have some new faces out.
8 out this past weekend, and there was some good shooting! Can't find the score cards, so I am not sure actual scores, but the top team ran away with it! Had to be close to 5-7 down?
Made it out for doubles after all Saturday, there was 7 of us out to face the wind. Not sure of the exact scores, but I think the standings went like this:
