If we don't start getting some more people signed up no one will get anything. As I think there is a minimum order we have to hit. So stop waiting till the last second, get signed up for the 2009 Ace Race ASAP!
Registration has started to pick up a little on the Ace Race, I'd say we maybe have 10 players signed up now.
I know there are more of you out there that want to play this event. The deadline is approaching quickly, so get signed up as soon as possible. If you don't pre-register you don't get to play!!!! As you must use one of the discs provided to you in the player packs.
Kind of crazy they are coming out with another putter....they just came out with the Zone a few months back, and now this month the Ringer....now next month a prototype putter.
Cool they are giving you 2 plastic types though. Can't wait to see them!
Where are we at with registration for this? I talked to the guys at the discraft booth, and told them the date for our ace race. They asked if we had ordered our stuff yet, told them no, and they gave me this funny look. Told them they had said to order 2 weeks ahead of time, and they said that might be pushing it...didn't know if we were ready to order or what?
As far as the disc, I was able to hold one at the fly mart....WOW does this disc feel great in the hand. It was the D plastic version, didn't see the ESP one, but this may just be the disc to replace my big bead Aviars...time will tell. The disc feels soo good that I almost want to order a second player pack!!!!
believe it or not I still play disc golf and hv signed up and would like a rough estimate of the # of other competitors so as to decide whether or not to commit to a softball tourney happening the same day.....I would love to play this event instead of getting cussed at by grown men acting like children...but $ is $....mo players = mo fun
From what I have heard, there is about 20 or so signed up.
With others that have said they were signing up????? With over a month of preregistration, and a deadline that has passed, they have probably missed thier opp! or at least should have missed it. I know if we wait on the stragglers that should have signed up weeks ago and we don't get our packs in time there will be some MAD people.....
BTW- Cody, I need an exact count so I can call Rodney today to let him know how much food to prepair. Actually told him I would have a count for him yesterday.
Well the club ordered 5 extra packages just in case for this year's Ace Race....and 2 of them are gone! Only 3 more left, if you want in on this year's Ace Race get signed up ASAP!!
BTW- the discs came in yesterday and boy does it feel great!!! Can't wait to give it a test fly..even if it is left handed :-/
