DD had a ton of them at the winter warm up...I guess I should of grabed on up. Instead I got a new Venom, but should of got a new Z Force. I love my proto Zone, it is money in the bank!!!
I see now on the "ask my hero" thread that the Z-Drones were made for 09 Worlds fundraising. Which means they are not for purchase at wholesale costs. Probably can get them at sportsdiscs.com or since you say DD had them probably through his site as well.
The Z-force is more overstable than the ESP version...although I only threw it twice last night. So not much testing.
Hey, Jason, do you still have a Fling stamped green Eco Xcal that Nick sold you in your store? I was wondering because Nick "Sticky Fingers Lepricon" Rowton stole it from me and said he sold it to you and that it was still in your store. He also said he was going to get it back from you and return it to its rightful owner, me. I really want that disc!!! So, if you have it slap Sticky Fingers around and take his money and hold on to it for me, PLEASE.
I do have an Fling Eco Xcal....what a little punk!!! I'll pull it and get him to re-buy it next time he's in....but I'll hold on to it and give it to you at the Crush.
Thomas, got the R-pro darts in just a few minutes ago....they feel really good. Makes me want to give one a try. Might have to take a few practice putts up front ;)
Also the Star Bosses feel sooooooooo much better in hand than the champ bosses. Not sure how they fly, other than reading about them on the pdga board, but they really do feel better.
Just to let everyone know, I got a new shippment of Discraft in as well as some of the popular selling gateway and DGA stuff:
Got most all of the new Pro-D stuff(avenger, surge, force, ect.), several flydyes, and of course a restock of all the "must haves".
Even got a couple more pair of Seal Skins in for those of you like me that don't like wet feet. These things were a life saver up in Amarillo a couple of weeks ago, mid 40s to 50s and raining...wearing these was the only thing that kept me in the game. Talked to several others that didn't have them throughout the round and they were all miserable, meanwhile my feet were nice and toast, but most important DRY!!!!
I'll probably be ordering in Innova stuff in the next week or so, if you need anything specific let me know and I'll add it to the order for you.
Seal Skins are worth every penny...and they are quite a penny! They kept my feet dry all throughout Amarillo. I suggest not washing them, air them out after each round. Jason washed his and they started to bundle up.
My first pair still work, they are just seperated so it takes some time to get them on "flat". I washed my second pair, but didn't dry them and they stayed together fine. So you were right about the drying part.
Got a restock of all the must have stuff, Star Destroyers, X-cals, Wraiths, ect.
Also got some new Echo Destroyers. Got the new R-pro Cros, Aviars, and Darts in. Restock on all the bags. For those that ordered them, I've got your accordian style disc pockets. Got another sport catcher basket in. Also got some of the new Innova Towels, some are more of a shammy style towel, some are just super absorbant towels.
Going to be placing an Innova order in the next couple of days. If anyone needs anything specific that I might not order regularly let me know. Otherwise I'll let you know when the new shippment is in.
Long Answer: I would like to sell used discs here at the shop. But I feel that selling used discs promotes swimming for discs for money, rahter than returning lost discs to their owners(people put their names on discs for a reason). So without some kind of way to know if it's your disc or a stack of discs you went swimming for, I don't feel right about resaleing them....especially when the person comes in and finds a disc that is theirs in a stack of 'found' discs that I didn't buy from him/her, and have to sell their disc back to them. I do offer Innova X-outs which are mis-print or cosmetic flawed discs that sell for cheaper than "perfect" ones. These flaws are either a double stamp, or a spec of something inside the plastic that won't affect the flight, but picky wholesalers don't want to buy them from the manufacturer....at least not at full price.
What I do promote here at Cortese instead is a lost and found. If you find a disc and want to return it to the owner you can either call them yourself(most people put a number on thier disc as well as a name) and let them know you are bringing it by the shop, or you can just bring it by the shop(or find me at the course) and I'll make the call and let them know they have a disc here to pick up. Also letting them know the person's name that returned it. Returning discs to others is a good way to have your discs returned as well.
I do keep a very big selection of new discs, both Discraft and Innova. I also stock some DGA, Gateway, Latitued 64, and Milleneum. As well as golden retrievers, towels, bags, and a few hats. I will also soon be stocking FADE bags, the very popular "roll-a-stools.(should be in the fist part of next week)
Short answer: No I do not sell used discs sorry! ;)

I talked to a guy at the discraft booth about it. Was mainly asking if he had any custom stamped Wasps. He didn't, but said "out if you throw the wasp you should throw our new stalker" He thought it would be a little longer wasp. Don't really see that from holding it, but I haven't thrown one yet.
