The CVDGA ordered 3 extra packages for any of those who would have liked to sign up, but couldn't for whatever reason. So, if you would like a players pack, get in touch with me. It will be a first come, first serve bases.
Well Cookie and myself got the course layed out Saturday, hoefully it will work for this year's dics! If not, I sure we can make some adjustments for the 2nd rounds.
Also got to sample several of Mark's beers...he's got some REALLY GOOD ONES!!! The Farm Ale is a light crisp, easy drinking one. The WindMill Pale Ale has a little more flavor, and even a hint of hops to it. Then the Stout is very good, but not overly heavy like a lot of stouts. I'm not normally a Stout drinker, but I really did like this one. Then if you are into some stronger beers with lots of flavor, you can try to talk him into a Big Prick IPA...but they are a little more expensive than the rest.(but worth it if you are into that kind of beer!)
COME ON SATURDAY...LET"S RUN SOME ACES AND DRINK SOME BEER!!!
Well once again no aces for me at an Ace Race...even after close to 120 throws???? Just seems to be the way it goes with my Ace Race experiences! Still had a blast running for them and playing the course in Eola. I hope that everyone had a good time out there...now we can start looking forward to the one and only Ice Bowl!
Congrats to all the winners at the Ace Race: Micheal Nichols Cookie 3rd? Can't remember? Albert
Big Thanks to Patty for running this for us and Cookie for helping set up the course!
Just wanted to let Juice and Danny know that I still have your ace race packages. I will bring them to the minis I go to. Thanks again for all who participated this year.
