Well the CVDGA Board and the TD got together last night and got most everything lined out for this year's 10th Annual Crush on the Concho. We are all looking forward to making the 10th year of this event the best we possibly can for all!

(with Friday doubles on the 9th)

ONLINE SIGNUPS ONLY

Player Pack signup deadline March 4th by 9pm...anyone that signsup after this date will not get a player pack.

Player limit 217

Trophy Divisions will be:
Pro $70
Pro Masters $65
Grand Masters $65
Advanced $60
Advanced Womens $60
Advanced Masters $60
Inter. $50
Inter. Women $50

Extras:

For the first time in Crush history, lunch will be provided at no cost to the players.

Friday Bring your own partner doubles will be played on the lake course and will be $10 per team

Longdrive competition: $2 awards will be by divisions.

Well it's official, I am a current PDGA member and a certified official. The test was a lot harder than I thought, but only missed 2 questions.

Okay the Crush is next weekend. The only way you can register is online and if you do not register by this coming Sunday, March 4th by 9:00 pm CST YOU WILL NOT GET A CRUSH T-SHIRT NO EXCEPTIONS! We will still have online signups next week but I will have removed the T-shirt question by 9:01 pm CST. If you know you are going to play I am asking for you to please get signed up. I am the one that gets the registrations and then it is an entire other process that I have to do once I get it so please be considerate and get signed up. You can only register online, there are no exceptions to that either unless you are a free entry with your certificate from last year and then in that case you must contact me before the tournament. Online signups link is on the Homepage or just click here http://www.discgolfunited.com/disc-golf-tournaments/tournament-dashboard.cfm/tourn_id/308 Also, if you are not a current PDGA member do not say you are and signup that you are, I have had 3 do this so far and I do check every number to see if it is current or not, be honest because I will catch it.

Crush week is here!!! Up to 118 signed up so far....Plus I'm sure a few more will trickle in. Looking like another great weekend in store CVDGA Disc Golf!

Can't wait for Friday!!! Got some long days ahead of me to get things done for Friday Doubles!

Things I know still need to get done:
OB at S.C. - I'll go paint that line when it gets mowed over there

OB on 15 -

Painting off Alt. Course - Micah had talked about doing this, but not sure if he or Carl is for sure?

Move 18? I've talked to SEVERAL people about this and most everyone I've talked to would like to see 18 in the other position!

Baskets - Patty you still in charge of this? I can meet you Friday at the storage unit after I get off to load them or we can do it Thursday after work?
Do we have a list for the other 9? Figured: Patty's, Coby's, the tall, and I have one other club basket..to put us at 13 total double chained. Any other double chains? Not that that is nessasary, but would be nice.

lond drive - Does anyone have a range finder we can borrow? How about radios?

Got out to the lake to move 18 and I noticed tire tracks leading to the short pin. Someone ran over the sleve and broke the tab off. We can weld it back weather permitting or just place the basket there for the Crush

Well the weekend is here, but I have mixed emotions. I am so glad to see all the people who have preregistered and look forward to a fantastic weekend, yet the R is kind of a buzz kill. I cannot remember the last time the crush got wet, but we will push thru and make the most of it. Good luck to all, dress warm, and try to stay dry. Big thanks to all who have worked to make this happen.
