The date has been set, and we are now registered with Ice Bowl HQ to once again be an official Ice Bowl. Now it's time to start spreading the word!

Date: Jan. 28th

Charity: Salvation Army

Location: Bright Brewing - Eola, Texas

Signups: 9:15ish

Holes to be played: 40 (2 rounds of 20 holes)

Cost will probably be the same as last year. I'll know for sure after the next board meeting next tuesday.

More info as it becomes availible!!

Well...all I can say is WOW!!! Who would have ever thought the Ash Mini idea in Eola would ever turn into an 83 person Ice Bowl in just 4 years??? I know I sure didn't, really didn't think we get to 25 or so.

So I want to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to all the people who support this event, all the people that help spread the word of the fun to be had in Eola, and all those that come in from out of town to support it! As well as those that help me out with running the event. I hope everyone had as good of a time as I did.

With the help of our 2 sponsors(THANKS MARK AND CORTESE FLAG..total shirt cost $1178.25...total cost to club $160!!!) covering player pack costs and of course all those that showed up: we were able to raise $581 and my truck is full of food that I will be dropping off today to the Salvation Army....So pat yourself on the back...WAY TO GO!!

For those that had to leave discs on the roof, I now have most of them here at the shop. Mark said there were 2 on there still he couldn't get to, but will get them back to me at some point in the future. So if you lost one swing by the shop when you get time and come get it. For those of you out-of-towners that lost them I'll keep them until I or I know someone heading your way.

Here is a list of what I have:
blue buzzz no name, but I know someone(think either Trey or Josh?) told me they lost it?
R-pro Aviar - no name
Ace Race Focus - CH?
Teebird - Richard
Flydye Valk - Chuck

JK Aviar - no name

---------------

I want to APOLOGIZE to everyone: I know things went longer than expected Saturday and I appreciate everyone dealing with it. We just were not prepared for that many people....but we are already making plans to get things going a little earlier next year as well as having a computer to do the scoring on(which will help out greatly at lunch!). I will also work on adding a couple of holes to the course...not to be a spoiler, but next year might include a mini hole and maybe an island hole!?!?!?! But we'll see....

Congrats to the winners:
Big Nate 99

I had a great time out there this year! Thanks to everyone who had a part in making it happen, especially Jason and Jeanne.

I only have one complaint.. I have to wait till next year to play it again!

Didn't get an Ice Bowl shirt??? Want one???

Well I have had several request and phone calls about getting more Ice Bowl shirts made up for those that didn't get one. I have mixed feelings about doing more, but after really thinking a lot about it...why not?

The problem is, obviously I can not give them away like at the Ice Bowl as that cost me around $900...so everyone that wants me to do a re-run of them will have to pay retail price for them, as if I was doing them for a regular customer. So as long as I get enough people willing, I will do a re-run of them, but they will cost $21.50 each. And they must be paid for in advanced, NO EXCEPTIONS.

So for now, either post here, or email me if you want one. Once I get enough request for them, around 15 or so. Then I will let everyone konw and we can start collecting money for them, and I'll get some done within a few weeks.

Let me know...How many and what size.

Nope no luck..he did say there is 1 disc stuck on the very top of the roof, but not the gym roof. So I don't think that is your's...but guess it could be??
He said the only way to get to that one is with some safty ropes, so it was going to have to wait till it blew down, or he had to do some more work up there.
