 5-29-2012  Tuesday is already here this week….which means it’s already time for this week’s update. This week we have a full mini schedule ahead of us. The player pack registration date is this Sunday for the 4th Annual Ménage a Trois. Which means the actual tourney is less than 2 weeks away…is your team ready? A few weeks down the road is the 9th Annual Abilene Wild Hair, then the very next weekend is the 5th Annual LightHouse on the Plains tourney up in Levelland. Looks like once we get through the last few days of May, June is going to be a busy disc golf month!!!
MINIS
Wednesday’s mini is my favorite kind of mini…Any guesses? That’s right, it’s time for another GET RIPT WEDNESDAY round! Teetime is 6pm and will be played at North Concho Park.
Saturday will be Handicapped singles at North Concho with a teetime of 10am….busy week for N.C!
Sunday’s Lake mini is scheduled for doubles at the lake. 2pm teetime.
4th Annual Ménage A Trois
The CVDGA’s team event, the Menage A Trois is a unique disc golf tourney that instead of just playing doubles you get to play singles, doubles, triples, and various other formats throughout the weekend. As well as being the only tourney you getting to play the “added holes” at South Concho. I have heard several teams are formed…now it’s time to get those teams signed up!

Players Meeting @ 8:33 @ Picnic Bend Disc Golf Course
There will be 2 divisions (both competing for their own revolving trophy) Plus individual medals for each player on the 1st and 2nd place teams
Divisions: Pro and Advanced
Suggested Team make up:
Pro – 1 pro, 1 advanced, 1 intermediate
Advanced – 1 advanced, 1 intermediate, 1 recreational
Teams consist of 3 players ranked 1-3
Cost - $99 per team (Optional ace pot $5 per player)

Player Packs – Tournament shirt and disc!!
Payout – 1st and 2nd in each division will receive individual medals. First in each division will have their individual and team name etched in history on the Ménage à trois Cup*. The Trophies go on display at Cortese Flag & Silkscreen for the year so everyone can see just who the Champions of the Ménage A Trois are. Plus bragging rights for a year! There will also be CTP prizes and an optional ace pot.
If you have never experienced TEAM disc golf….this is a must make tourney! You won’t be disappointed!!!

The ADGA is having a “warm up to the course” tourney on June 16th. More info to come next week on that.
